Dorde Aleksic sealed the final score from the charity stripe
Bosnia and Herzegovina reached the Second Round of the U18 European Championship by beating Czech Republic72-65 in Group C.
Aleksandar Lazic led the way with 20 points while Dorde Aleksic had 14 points and Nedem Dedovic scored 10 points.
Matej Svoboda had 14 points for the Czechs while Viktor Pulpán, Ondrej Sehnal and David Pekárek all added 12 points.
Turning point: After Bosnia and Herzegovina came back from a 12-point second-quarter deficit, the Czechs led 62-59 when the Balkan side went on a 9-0 run to open a 68-62 lead with 29 seconds left. And Aleksic made all four of his free throws in the final 20 seconds to ice the game.
Game Hero: Lazic added nine rebounds, one assist and one steal to his 20 points for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Stats Don't Lie: Bosnia and Herzegovina won the battle of the glass 41-35 including grabbing 15 offensive rebounds.
The Bottom Line: Bosnia and Herzegovina improved to 2-1 in Group C to move into the Second Round. But they will have to wait until the final game between Greece and Turkey to see what position they finish. The Czechs took last place with a 0-3 record and will now play against the drop to Division B.
